Privacy Policy

In addition to the Superprez Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, you acknowledge and agree that your use is also subject to the legal terms of the technology provider used to operate Superprez, Superengine, as those terms may apply and as amended by the provider from time to time.

When you have not connected a personal GitHub account, Superprez may use GitHub to host and process your presentation source code as part of operating the service. In that case, by using Superprez you also agree to GitHub's applicable legal documents (including GitHub's Terms of Service and Privacy Statement), as updated by GitHub from time to time. See GitHub's site policy. If you connect your own GitHub account and host repositories under it, your relationship with GitHub is governed by your agreement with GitHub directly.

This Privacy Policy describes the data Superprez collects and how we use it.

Today, Superprez is a marketing site with a waitlist for an upcoming product. This policy reflects that scope and will be updated when the product itself becomes available.

What we collect at the waitlist stage

When you join the Superprez waitlist (the “Early Access program”), we collect the information you submit:

Your email address (required).
Your name (optional).
Technical context attached to your submission: the time of the submission, the source page (e.g. superprez-landing) and your browser’s user agent.

We may use this data to: (a) contact you when a slot opens up, (b) keep you informed about Superprez and the Early Access program, (c) verify that you are authorized to use the application once it launches, and (d) understand demand and prioritize features.

The processing of this data is done with your consent (you provide your email of your own volition through the waitlist form) and in our legitimate interest in operating an Early Access program.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
We do not place advertising or analytics cookies on this site at this stage.
We do not use your email for purposes unrelated to Superprez and the Early Access program.

Where the data is stored

Waitlist submissions are written to a Google Sheet you configure, accessed through a private Google Apps Script Web App. That sheet is the source of truth for the waitlist.

For your convenience, your submitted email is also kept in your browser’s localStorage so the Superprez waitlist status page can show you your standing without you having to re-enter anything. That data lives only on your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Website analytics

At the waitlist stage we do not run third-party analytics on the Superprez landing page. If we ever introduce analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting solution (such as Umami) that anonymizes data and we will update this policy.

Logs

Interacting with our internet-facing infrastructure (the website, the waitlist endpoint) may generate logs. These logs may contain personally identifiable information such as your IP address and the page you visited. We use logs to monitor performance and security. Logs are rotated, which means that when their size reaches a maximum value, the oldest data is deleted as new data comes in.

What can you do about your personal data?

If you want to obtain a copy of, rectify or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, contact us. There may be situations in which we cannot perform your request — for example, if your request opposes a legal requirement applying to us, or our legitimate interests (such as keeping our systems secure).

Children

Superprez is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to the waitlist, contact us and we will delete the entry.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular as Superprez moves from waitlist-only into a real product. The “Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent change.
